Sabrina Ionescu's new shoe expected to release in July

Star from the New York Liberty, Sabrina Ionescu, reached a shoe deal back in 2020 with Nike. This agreement took place on the same day she was drafted #1 overall. Since then her shoes have become fan favorites after their initial release, and she is now adding another shoe to her line, which is expected to release on July 10, the "Nike Sabrina 3". The first color-way of the new line that will be available is titled "Blueprint". It is said to be a mix of glacier blue, neptune blue, light armory blue, and metallic gold.

A rumored look of the shoe has floated around the internet.

Ionescu's last shoe, the "Sabrina 2", has reached leaps and bounds of popularity outside of just the WNBA. In the NBA last season it ranked as the second most worn shoe, after the Kobe 6. Here are some of the players that wore the shoes last season: Tyler Herro, Derrick White, Kel'el Ware, Tari Eason, Miles Bridges, Anfernee Simons, Jaden McDaniels, Amen Thompson, Grayson Allen, and several others.

Ionescu's shoe has been praised by NBA players for their comfortability, with many relating to them to the feel of Kobes.

Ionescu continues to grow in popularity and so does the WNBA as a whole. With the great reviews of the 2s the market for the Sabrina 3s are sure to be even greater. According to KicksOnFire her "Blueprint" shoe, the first of color-way of the "Nike Sabrina 3", is set to price at $130 for an adult pair and $100 for a youth pair of shoes upon the drop on July 10.
