One of Caitlin Clark ‘s most notable changes is her significant physical development, drawing attention from media, fans, and even Indiana Fever’s COO, Amber Cox, and performance coach Sarah Kessler, who shared their candid insights on Tuesday about Clark’s offseason grind.
Clark’s transformation gained lookout last March when a photo of her cheering for her alum, the Iowa Hawkeyes, went viral. The ROTY’s arms showcased noticeably larger and more defined muscles.

Cox, the team’s chief operating officer, briefly shared her thoughts on the former Hawkeyes’ growth in ESPN’s article.
“There’s been much ado about her guns,” the Fever’s GM said.
Moreover, the Fever GM expressed her admiration for Caitlin Clark’s dedication, noting that the ROTY was always ready and on time for her team’s morning practice, regardless of the events she attended.
“I kind of marveled at it,” she added.
Meanwhile, Kessler revealed how she incorporated single-leg exercises and isometrics for explosiveness to Caitlin Clark, helping her improve under pressure and prevent losing balance. She also added single-arm exercises to strengthen Clark’s certain passes and limb strength.
Kessler openly admired Clark’s offseason dedication, noting:
“I’ve had athletes who have said that, and then maybe when the work component shows up to actually achieve those goals, that’s where there’s maybe a disconnect. But with Caitlin, she set those goals and from the jump, I was seeing her in the weight room four to five times a week.”
Averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds in her rookie year, all eyes are on Caitlin Clark as she aims to surpass these stats in her sophomore stint with her offseason journey.
Caitlin Clark devoted most of the offseason to rest and significant improvement. Besides her physical development, the Indiana Fever star also worked on her on-court skills and many film studies.
In ESPN’s Tuesday article, Clark shares confidence in her intense routines in the upcoming season. She noted:
“That’s where I’m going to find my confidence coming into this next season is just knowing I’ve been consistent, and whether it’s been the weight room, whether it’s been my skill development, my shooting.”
The former Iowa Hawkeyes also extended gratitude to head coach Stephanie White and other mentors for helping her improve.
“They were very accessible to me. They’re in here with me at 8 a.m. helping me get ready for moments like these,” Clark said. “You hope it shows on the court, and I think it certainly will.”
Caitlin Clark and the Fever will return to the court against the Chicago Sky on May 17, their first of the now-expanded 44 games of the season.
