Sophie Cunningham’s first season with the Indiana Fever ended in disappointment. After firmly establishing herself as one of the most important players on the squad, the 6-foot-1 guard suffered a season-ending injury toward the latter part of the campaign.

Cunningham tore the MCL in her right knee in late August during an overtime win against the Connecticut Sun. That marked the end of her memorable debut campaign with the Fever. In 30 games played in 2025, Cunningham averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals in 25.2 minutes per game. She also knocked down 1.7 triples per contest on a highly efficient 43.2% clip.

Apart from being one of the most established players on the court, Cunningham’s popularity outside basketball rose significantly during her time with the Fever. This led to multiple endorsement deals for the 28-year-old. Cunningham currently has brand partnership deals with Adidas, Arby’s and Quest Nutrition, to name a few.

On Tuesday, Cunningham surprised some Fever staff members and front office personnel with a special gift. After working out in the team facility, the former Missouri Tigers star went around to give away bottles of Silver Oak wine.

One of Cunningham’s latest endorsements is Silver Oak, an Oakville, California-based premium winery that was established in 1972. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is an endorser and investor in the brand.

Cunningham gifted members of the Fever organization with the brand’s renowned Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

"I'm surprising kind of everyone who works so hard behind the scenes this offseason with some Silver Oak wine," Cunningham said before making her rounds inside the facility.

Apart from her multiple brand endorsements, Cunningham also runs her own podcast, “Show Me Something,” alongside reality TV star and childhood friend West Wilson.

Cunningham’s one-year contract with the Fever expired at the end of the 2025 season. She will need to negotiate a new deal with the team for 2026 and beyond.
