Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham’s dance moves draw attention

The Fever players got into their customary pregame huddle after the starters were introduced. Right before they broke out, Cunningham took to the center of the huddle and dropped on all fours. She then proceeded to bust out some sort of dance move in front of the entire team.

Cunningham’s actions grabbed attention on X.

It is unclear if Cunningham’s moves were part of the plan or if she decided to surprise the squad and go completely off-script. Either way, she elicited reactions from her teammates, who would go on and play a good game against the Valkyries. Cunningham’s next opportunity to make an impact on the court — and with her pregame antics — will be on Thursday. The Fever will return to action in a road game as they take on Golden State in a rematch at Chase Center.
