Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham summed up what everyone felt during the team's come-from-behind win against the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA playoffs.
In Game 3 on Thursday, the Dream led by as many as eight points and were ahead by five with 2:31 remaining in the fourth quarter. It certainly looked like the Fever were on their way to another first-round exit before they came roaring back.
An Aliyah Boston layup with 7.4 seconds left gave the Fever a one-point lead, 86-85. While the Dream still had a chance to win with the time remaining, Rhyne Howard botched the inbounds pass, as Lexie Hull stole the ball.
Atlanta had no choice but to foul at that point, and the Fever eventually came out with the 87-85 victory. Indiana also won the series 2-1 to move on to the next round.
After the game, the players were naturally hyped. As they headed to the locker room, Caitlin Clark was seen shouting "Yeah!" while Boston delivered her signature "Bow, bow, bow."
Cunningham, for her part, had more to say. The 29-year-old, who's out for the playoffs due to her season-ending MCL injury, highlighted the intensity of the game with her postgame reaction.
"Oh my God," Cunningham stated. "That gave me a heart attack."
"We didn't come this far to only go this far!"

To be fair to Cunningham, it's hard not to feel scared during the game. After all, it definitely looked like the Fever were bound to lose. As Indiana posted, Atlanta had an 84.4% chance to win when it went up by five points late in the game.
Regardless, the important thing is that the Fever won and now move on to the semifinals, where they will face the Las Vegas Aces.
