Sophie Cunningham emerged as one of the biggest stars in the WNBA during her first season with the Indiana Fever.

While she's not in the MVP conversation and still plays a lesser role on the court than stars like Caitlin Clark, Cunningham is one of the most widely known players in the league.

As the Fever worked through the 2025 season, Cunningham was active on social media. On Friday, she was seen reposting a photo from her sister Lindsey Cunningham, who has welcomed a baby girl.

"The sweetest addition to our girl gang: Pippy Clarke Hudson," Lindsey Cunningham said. "Thank you Jesus for these sisters!!!"

Sophie Cunningham took to social media after the announcement, sending Lindsey Cunningham a note on the family.

"Girl gang getting bigger," Sophie Cunningham said.

Sophie Cunningham and Lindsey Cunningham played alongside each other in college with the Missouri Tigers.

While Lindsey Cunningham has since retired, Sophie Cunningham had an incredible season with the Indiana Fever before suffering a season-ending injury.

Cunningham's season was recently cut short with a knee injury. Throughout her first season wth the Fever, the Indiana star posted 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.

Before playing with the Fever, Sophie Cunningham began her WNBA career with the Phoenix Mercury.

There's certainly major changes to the Cunningham family. While an unfortunate development ended Sophie Cunningham's season, Lindsey Cunningham was at the center of life-changing news for the family during the WNBA season.
