Sophie Cunninghamposted a carousel of photos on Instagram on Sunday. It included her latest self-produced meme, her pregame looks and pictures of her on the court this season.
One of them showed Rae Burrell hitting her face, and the Los Angeles Sparks star apologized in the comments section.
Burrell defended Cunningham and tried to poke the ball away from her. However, the Sparks guard-forward accidentally hit her on the face, which was captured on the seventh slide.
Cunningham had her eyes closed in the snap, and Burrell was assessed with a foul. The 26-year-old dropped a three-word comment along with two emojis.
"Lolll my bad " Burrell commented.

Cunningham and Indiana dominated the Sparks on Saturday, 111-87. They achieved their second win in three games following a two-game losing skid.
Kelsey Mitchell led the way for the Fever with 26 points, while Aliyah Boston and Tyasha Harris supplied 17 and 16, respectively. Cunningham contributed nine points and two rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench.
Indiana has seven days off, allowing the team to recover and conduct practices in between. The Fever stand at 11-8 for the season and are currently seventh in the standings.
They'll embark on a four-game road trip starting on July 5, including two matchups against the Las Vegas Aces.
Burrell and Los Angeles, on the other hand, sit at 8-10. They will play their next three games at Crypto.com Arena. The favorable schedule will give them a stronger chance of stringing wins together and returning to above .500.
