Stephanie White and the Indiana Fever won their second consecutive game on Thursday. They defeated the Chicago Sky 114-106 in overtime, pushing their record to 7-5 for the season.

Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston led the way and made WNBA history. The dynamic duo recorded a 30-point double-double each to become the first set of teammates to achieve the feat in the same game. The 2024 Rookie of the Year finished with 32 points and 10 assists, while the three-time All-Star center registered 34 points and 12 rebounds.

Clark shot 15-of-15 from the free-throw line and added seven assists. Boston supplied three assists, one steal and two blocks for a strong all-around effort. Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull backed them with 19 and 11 points, respectively. All five bench players who saw action scored for the team.

Indiana Fever: Stephanie White shares thoughts on Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston’s feat

During her postgame presser, reporters asked White about Clark and Boston’s historic performances. The head coach expressed awe in what they achieved at this stage of their careers.

“I don’t know that I can really put it in perspective, in terms of quantifying it,” White said. “And especially because they’re so young. But they’re elite at what they do. And the more experience that they get at this level and the difference in ways that people play us, they’ve already grown in their reads.”

Clark and Boston have been playing at a high level throughout the season. While the team struggled in its first 10 games, the two continued to record impressive numbers.

The Fever’s two-game winning streak couldn’t have come at a more important time. They were 5-5 and scheduled to play two of their next three games on the road. Indiana passed the test and is now staring at a more favorable slate, set to be hosts in five of their upcoming seven matchups.
