After suffering an embarrassing loss to the Indiana Fever (9-8), the Las Vegas Aces (8-9) continue on to their third game in their five-game road trip against the Connecticut Sun (2-15).
The Aces will take on the Sun on Sunday, July 6 at 1pm PT. The game can be found on WNBA League Pass and on Vegas 34.
The Aces are 26-33 against the Connecticut Sun all-time. Las Vegas has won 8 of their last 10 against the Sun, including the last six games.
The Aces will host the Sun in the final game of the series for 2025 on August 10.
Las Vegas is averaging 79.3 points per game, 33.1 rebounds, and 16.9 assists while shooting 40.1% from the floor.
The Aces are led by the reigning MVP A’ja Wilson in almost every statistical category averaging 22.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game. Jackie Young is averaging 17.3 points and shooting 90.3% from the charity stripe.
Connecticut comes into this game on a 9-game losing streak. They have not played since last Sunday.
The Sun’s last win was an 84-76 win against Atlanta on June 6.
Connecticut is led by veteran Tina Charles who is averaging 9.5 points per game, which is a drop from her 16.6 points per game. Guard Marina Mabrey is out due to a knee injury she suffered on June 20. Her absence has put a damper on Connecticut’s court production.
The Aces continue their road trip to New York on Tuesday, July 8 at 5pm PT.
