The 'WNBA MVPs' quiz

Happy 54th birthday to 12-time All-WNBA selection, eight-time All-Star, three-time MVP, two-time Defensive Player of the Year and two-time WNBA champion, Lisa Leslie!

Leslie was one of the first faces of women’s professional basketball in the United States, making an immediate impact with the Los Angeles Sparks as a rookie. She finished top-four in MVP voting in her first four seasons before finally winning the award in 2001, averaging 19.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks-per-game en route to her first of back-to-back titles. 

Also led the WNBA in rebounding three times, blocks twice and was named Finals MVP twice in her decorated career. She officially hung up her shoes following the 2009 season with 12 WNBA seasons under her belt. She was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2015.

She has since stayed around the sport, spending time as a coach in the BIG3 tournament as well as working as a studio analyst for the Orlando Magic.
