Connecticut Sun forward Alyssa Thomas got ejected Saturday for committing a reckless foul on Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.
The Sun led 59-58 over the Sky with under four minutes remaining in the third quarter at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Ill.
Sky guard Dana Evans missed a layup, which led to Thomas and Reese battling for the rebound in the paint. As Reese jumped to snag the offensive board, Thomas grabbed her by the neck and slammed her down into the hardwood.
Alyssa Thomas should be totally embarrassed on what she did to Angel Reese.

Thomas was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul and subsequently tossed from the contest. The four-time All-Star exited with nine points, six rebounds and six assists.
Despite losing one of the team’s best players, the Sun still managed to keep their record perfect against the Sky. They won 86-82 to improve their record to 5-0 for the season.
Reese continued her streak of scoring in double figures to start her WNBA career. In her fourth career game, the LSU alum finished with 13 points, five rebounds and two assists.
