Game 2 between the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun got off to a fiery start, which only intensified after Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark had a fan booted from the contest.
Late in the first quarter, Clark alerted officials about an unruly fan sitting near mid-court. Soon after, footage showed security approaching the individual before removing him from the game.

A follow-up report indicated the fan was allowed to return "after having a discussion with security."
For the record, Clark seemed to take the floor with a noticeable snarl. Earlier in the opening quarter, she shoved and exchanged words with DeWanna Bonner after colliding with the Sun forward following a three-point attempt.

The atmosphere clearly motivated Clark early. The 2024 No. 1 pick finished the first quarter with six points, shooting 2-of-4 from beyond the arc with four rebounds and three assists.
The Fever rode the emotional wave to a nine-point lead, 13-4, 6:25 into Game 2, but things would cool for Clark and company.
The Sun finished the half outscoring Indiana 37-21 to take a 41-34 lead into the break. Meanwhile, after a hot first quarter, Clark went just 3-of-6 from the field and 0-of-3 from three-point range with one assist.
Clark and the Fever are still within striking distance but need to play catch-up after letting an early lead slip away. Down 1-0 to the Sun in the best-of-three series, Indiana has just one quarter left to keep its season alive for another day.
