Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark may have taken the basketball world by storm, but her undeniable impact goes far beyond the court.
While the WNBA world was impressed by her competitiveness and record-breaking stats, the younger generation has also fallen under her spell.
As the 2025 preseason kicked off, the Fever put on a thrilling showdown at Iowa’s Carver-Hawkeye Arena against the Brazil women's national team on Sunday. Clark’s team, unsurprisingly, made easy work of their rivals in a 108-44 victory.
Amid the sea of crowd cheering for the Fever, a group of little supporters stood out as they witnessed the WNBA star back in action.
In a video shared on the Fever’s official Instagram, young fans shared their heartfelt thoughts about Clark when asked to name their favorite player.
One thrilled fan called the former Iowa Hawkeye standout her “role model.”
“I really look up to her,” the fan said, adding, “Every day when I'm practicing basketball, I just think to myself, ‘What would Caitlin do?’” The young girl also mentioned the Fever star’s resilience and her never-give-up attitude.
A second young admirer said he liked Clark for her basketball skills, while a third supporter mentioned that she has that unmistakable “aura.”
“She’s an awesome person,” a little girl said, adding, “She has like a lot of aura,” a slang term that means confidence or excellence.
Besides the young fans, social media users couldn’t help but agree with Clark’s mini supporters.
“Even the kids know she's got aura!” one wrote.
The same goes for a commenter who said, “The kids know!!,” while another user added, “Caitlin Clark is a mega-star.”
