Point guard for the Las Vegas Aces has not played a professional game since her foot injury during game three of the WNBA Finals. This happened instantly after Breonna Stewart stepped on her foot while Gray was defending.

Gray is known by her peers as “The Point God” for her flashy passes and capability to run an offense. She has been apart of the Aces roster since 2021 and was part of both championship squads.
Despite the absence of Gray in the playoffs until now, the club has still not lost a contest. Her 7.3 assists per game absence does not prohibit the success of the Aces.
It is unknown what the specific injury is that was diagnosed but it is a left foot injury. Gray can be quoted as saying, “my foot popped.”
A popped foot could at worst be a broken bone which could be why she was unable to place any pressure on that side. She even needed to move around on a scooter because of this disability.
At worst, a broken foot injury will prevent an athlete by six months until returning to full activity. Due to her injury occurring in October, Gray should be destined to return any game now.
For the Aces last game, she was listed as questionable and seen working out before the game. Her return should be expected at the latest to be next week.
