On Monday, the Dallas Wings (0-4) visit Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, to face the Connecticut Sun (0-4) in what marks Paige Bueckers’ first return to her collegiate home as a professional.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET, and both teams enter the contest seeking their first win of the young season.
Bueckers, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft, has averaged 13.0 points and 6.3 assists in her first four games, quickly establishing herself as Dallas’ primary playmaker.

Bueckers’ journey began in Edina, Minnesota, but her stardom blossomed at the University of Connecticut.
Arriving in Storrs as the nation’s top recruit, she made an immediate impact. As a freshman in 2020-21, Bueckers became the first freshman in women’s Division I history to be named National Player of the Year, earning unanimous All-American honors.
Despite knee injuries that sidelined her for much of her sophomore and entire junior seasons, she returned stronger, leading the Huskies back to the Final Four in 2023-24.
In 2024-25, Bueckers capped her collegiate career by averaging 19.9 points, 4.6 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game, culminating in a record 12th national championship for UConn, the program’s first title since 2016.
In her final year with the Huskies, she earned the Wade Trophy, Honda Sports Award and Nancy Lieberman Award and was a unanimous first-team All-American, while collecting her third Big East Player of the Year trophy.
