The WNBA wrapped up its second week of the 2025 season, and an Atlanta Dream player was recognized. The Dream are second in the Eastern Conference with a 5-2 record. After a 1-2 start to the season, Atlanta concentrated on their execution and has been on a four-game win streak since then.

Last week, the Dream played two games. On May 27, the Dream had an 88-82 victory against the Los Angeles Sparks. They were led by Allisha Gray, who had 25 points, five rebounds and six assists on 87.5% shooting from the field.

Atlanta followed that with a 94-87 win over the Seattle Storm. Once again, Gray had an outstanding performance with 28 points and four rebounds on 50% shooting from deep. Rhyne Howard also played well with 33 points.

Due to her performance during that stretch, Gray was recognized as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second week of the 2025 season. She averaged 26.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and four assists in the two games she played.

For the Western Conference, reigning league MVP A'ja Wilson was named the Player of the Week. The Las Vegas Aces frontcourt star averaged 27 points, 10 rebounds and 3.5 blocks.

The Dream is set to face the Connecticut Sun on  Friday and look to add another win to their record. Gray and her team will play their first game of the Commissioner's Cup.

Through seven games played this season, Gray is averaging 21.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists. She's reached the 20-point average for the first time in her career and could make her third All-Star appearance this season.
