WNBA Attendance: Week in review

The week spanning July 8 through July 17 saw 22 games being played. The highest attendance for this span belongs to the Los Angeles Sparks on July 16 with 18,724. The lowest attendance once again belongs to the Atlanta Dream on July 12 with 3,344. The Washington Mystics, Dallas Wings, Connecticut Sun, Las Vegas Aces, and Atlanta Dream all had sellouts during this timeline. However, the Chicago Sky have had four straight games of 9,025 but they have not been declared sellouts.

The league is set for its All-Star and Olympic break now. At this point in the season, every team has increased their attendance from 2023. The Indiana Fever lead the league with a 315 percent increase from last season. Following Indiana are the Los Angeles Sparks (+67.7%) and then the New York Liberty (+64%). Overall, league attendance is up by 46.2 percent from 2023.

The Week Look Ahead

The WNBA now heads into a month-long break due to the All-Star Game on Saturday, July 20 followed by the 2024 Paris Olympics. The league will resume play on August 20 and will play 14 games for that week.
