After refusing to play their games alongside the NBA, the WNBA season is set to resume.
The league announced via Twitter that games will resume on Friday night while posting a picture of players kneeling to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisc. on Sunday.

The NBA and WNBA protested by not playing after they learned Blake was shot seven times by police with his children in the vehicle to witness the act of violence.
The shooting left Blake paralyzed from the waist down.
Friday's WNBA schedule includes three games inside the league's IMG Academy bubble in Bradenton, Fla. The Minnesota Lynx will take on the Atlanta Dream, the Los Angeles Sparks will play the Connecticut Sun and the Washington Mystics will take on the Phoenix Mercury.
The NBA playoffs are set to resume on Saturday after a two-day postponement of games.
