WNBA Had Strong Words About Angel Reese Following Sky-Sparks

Angel Reese made all sorts of waves again on Sunday in one of her best performances of the season. This came in the form of a monster 24-point, 16-rebound double-double, which saw the second-year forward make WNBA history by becoming the first player to register 15 or more rebounds in four straight games.

More importantly, Reese's heroics resulted in Chicago notching just its second win in the last six games as they took down the Los Angeles Sparks at Crypto.com Arena, 92-85.

After the contest, the WNBA took to social media to recognize Reese as the Top Performer of the game. The league had a strong message about the former LSU star's performance.

"Angel Reese put together a masterclass with 24 PTS, 16 REB, & 7 AST " the league posted on X.

In its post, the WNBA also pointed out that Reese's 36th career double-double allowed her to enter the Top 10 of the Sky's all-time rebounding list. The fact that she's done so in just her second season is nothing short of incredible.

Reese will want to keep her foot on the gas in Chicago's next game. They get six days off before returning to action in back-to-back road matchups against the Minnesota Lynx and the Washington Mystics on July 6 and 8, respectively.

Reese and Co. will get an opportunity to rest and recuperate over the next week, but they will definitely want to keep the momentum going as they look to improve on their 5-11 record.
