The WNBA couldn't be prouder after it was revealed that three of the game's legends were recognized on Saturday.
Ahead of the NCAA Tournament men's Final Four, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame officially announced the members of the 2025 class who will be enshrined this summer in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Among the former WNBA players who were selected for the Hall of Fame were Seattle Storm icon and four-time champion Sue Bird, two-time champion and one-time MVP Sylvia Fowles and Minnesota Lynx great and four-time titlist Maya Moore.
On social media, the WNBA made sure to congratulate the three and highlight their achievements.
"Congratulations to Sue Bird, Sylvia Fowles and Maya Moore for being selected as part of the #25HoopClass!" the WNBA wrote.
"Sue Bird, a 4x WNBA champ and 5x Olympic gold medalist, is the WNBA’s all-time leader in assists. Sylvia Fowles, a 2x WNBA Champ and 4x Olympic gold medalist, is No. 2 on the WNBA’s all-time rebounding list. And Maya Moore, a 4x WNBA champion and 2x Olympic gold medalist, is one of the game’s most influential players."

Other members of the 2025 Hall of Fame class include Carmelo Anthony, Billy Donovan, Dwight Howard and the 2008 USA Basketball Men’s Olympic Team, or more popularly known as "The Redeem Team."
Sue Bird, Sylvia Fowles and Maya Moore, along with the other members of the 2025 class, will be officially inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Sept. 6.
