Caitlin Clark began her second WNBA campaign with a season-opening clash against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Saturday afternoon.

Clark and her Indiana Fever squad dominated the matchup, winning with a 93-58 final score at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Clark, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year, finished the game with 20 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds. With this stat line, the former No. 1 overall pick secured her third career triple-double.

Just 41 games into her professional career, Clark now sits No. 3 on the WNBA's all-time triple-double list. The 23-year-old point guard trails Alyssa Thomas (15) and Sabrina Ionescu (4), and is tied with Candace Parker (3).

The WNBA's official communications account shared this news with a social media post on Monday.

"Caitlin Clark started her sophomore season by recording 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in her season opener against the Chicago Sky. Clark is now tied for third on the WNBA all-time triple-double list," the league wrote on X.

In addition to her triple-double numbers, Clark also recorded four blocks and two steals in the blowout victory.

"The coaching staff has just challenged me to be a better defender in every single practice and just being better in that area," Clark said in her postgame press conference. "I still feel like there is a lot of room for me to improve. I don't think any of those blocks are too obvious. You look at the stat sheet and it's like, 'Oh, wow, four!'"

Clark and the Fever will look to build on their hot start in an away matchup against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night.
