Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum got candid during ESPN's "Never Have I Ever" interview at the 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend, revealing a personal regret tied to a tattoo — and a short-lived marriage.

When asked by host Ari Chambers if she ever regretted a tattoo, Plum didn't hold back.

"Girl, yeah, I got married and divorced," Plum replied, drawing laughter and surprise from Chambers. "Still trying to get it removed," she added.

The tattoo she referenced was tied to her 2023 marriage to NFL tight end Darren Waller, which ended in divorce in April 2024, just over a year after they tied the knot in Las Vegas.

The couple had kept their romance largely private. They married on March 4, 2023, but by April 23, 2024, they jointly filed for divorce in Nevada.

Plum’s confession about the tattoo struck a chord with fans, not only because of its honesty but also because it highlighted a chapter of her life that she rarely discusses publicly.

Her ex-husband appeared to process the breakup through music, releasing a song in May 2024 titled "Who Knew (Her Perspective)," which fans believe reflects their relationship.

The reveal comes just days after Plum was at the center of another viral moment during the WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis. Players took to the court for warmups in shirts reading, "Pay Us What You Owe Us," advocating for better pay in the league.

"It was a very powerful moment... the t-shirt just united front was determined this morning," Plum commented on the powerful display at a postgame press conference.

But her remark about "zero members of Team Clark" being present for the pregame meeting sparked some backlash online, with critics accusing her of taking a jab at teammate Caitlin Clark’s squad.

Plum clarified she was "trying to make the situation light," while emphasizing that unity among players was the main goal.

Still, Plum’s mix of humor, honesty and boldness continues to make her one of the WNBA’s most talked-about personalities.

As for the tattoo, she’s still working on getting it removed. But fans agree — owning up to it with such transparency just adds to her realness.
