The WNBA has suspended Angel Reese.
The WNBA announced on Thursday that Reese was suspended for the Chicago Sky’s Friday game against the Indiana Fever. The suspension was triggered when Reese incurred her eighth technical foul of the season, which is the limit before a player is suspended.
The suspension is for one game and will prevent Reese from being paid. She will be suspended an additional game for every two technical fouls she receives during the regular season moving forward.

Reese’s suspension comes as she receives backlash from her teammates for sending a message to the Sky’s front office regarding her supporting talent.
