John Cena shocked the WWE universe at Elimination Chamber, not only securing his spot at WrestleMania, but also turning heel by aligning with The Rock. This stunning betrayal could go down as one of the biggest swerves in WWE history. However, it’s highly likely that WWE has even more surprises in store on the road to WrestleMania.

With WrestleMania fast approaching, the stakes have never been higher for WWE superstars. Major storylines gain steam during this time of the year. Many talents are eyeing championship gold, and the desire to make an impact could serve as the catalyst for more shocking heel turns.

In light of John Cena’s stunning betrayal at Elimination Chamber, let’s take a look at three stars who could follow suit and turn heel in the coming weeks.

3. Natalya

Natalya could shockingly turn heel on the road to WrestleMania. The Queen of Harts is actively getting approached by Maxxine Dupri on Raw. The Alpha Academy member wants the veteran to keep her under her wing. But the former Women’s Champion seems to have no interest in taking that offer. She did not even take some time to see Dupri’s matches, highlighting her disinterest.

There is a high possibility Natalya could finally turn heel on the Raw on the road to WrestleMania. If that happens, it could put the former Women’s Champion in a significant spotlight, something she has missed for a long time.

Additionally, a feud with a veteran like Natalya would elevate a young talent like Maxxie Dupri on Monday Night Raw. If done right, it could elevate Dupri as the rising talent has slowly captured fan attention over the last couple of years.

2. Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair is set to take on Iyo Sky at WrestleMania for the Women’s World Championship, but WWE might have other plans. Reports suggest that Rhea Ripley could be added to the mix, turning it into a Triple Threat Match. While this would make for a high-stakes showdown, it also presents a challenge – all three stars are top babyfaces. This could split the fandom right in the middle.

As a result, WWE might decide to turn Bianca Belair heel on the road to WrestleMania. Fans have speculated about this possibility before, but now could be the perfect time to pull the trigger. It doesn’t make much sense for the Japanese star to turn heel.

With Rhea Ripley recently turning face, it’s unlikely she’ll revert anytime soon. A Belair heel turn would be a major shocker for the WWE Universe, in light of the recent Naomi vs. Jade Cargill feud. As such, it could add an extra layer of excitement to this already blockbuster matchup.

1. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns made a shocking return this week on Raw, leaving chaos in his wake. He took out everyone in sight, whether it was Seth Rollins or fan-favorite CM Punk. However, what stood out the most was that this wasn’t the same old babyface Tribal Chief, something felt different. Notably, when Paul Heyman was consoling Punk, Reigns wasted no time in attacking The Best in the World.

If this isn’t a heel move, then what is? There’s a strong chance that The Needle Mover is embracing a darker, lone-wolf persona on the road to WrestleMania. In a shocking twist, he could even turn on his Wise Man, especially given Heyman’s recent interactions with Punk. That said, The Show of Shows might be the perfect stage for Reigns to fully embrace his villainous side once again.
