All things considered, seeing WWE Evolution back as a PLE (Premium Live Event) is absolutely amazing to see as the women’s division continues to shine. The superstars represent the present and future of the company, as shown by the card. Championships will be on line at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta in a loaded weekend of wrestling. Now, let’s take a look at the card for the second-ever Evolution PLE.

WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Trish Stratus

With respect to the WWE Women’s Championship, it has been Tiffy Time for almost 190 days. Her opponent at Evolution knows a thing or two about championships in Trish Stratus.

Stratus is Tiffany Stratton‘s hand-picked opponent, who is a seven-time WWE Women’s Champion and Hall of Famer. At Elimination Chamber in March, they defeated the team of Candice LaRae and Nia Jax, but now will be opponents.

In this case, Stratton has the opportunity to defeat who many consider the greatest women’s wrestler in the company’s history. The question is will it still be Tiff Time or will it be Stratusfaction and an eighth title reign.

Women’s World Championship: IYO SKY (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

Here, familiar foes face off as IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley face off for Women’s World Championship with match of the night potential. SKY defeated Ripley on the March 3 episode of RAW and Ripley has been on the pursuit for a third reign as champion. Both bring the absolute best out of one another as no build was necessary given their history. Can Mami get the gold back or will SKY add to her over 130 days hold on the championship.

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria

Without a doubt, this triple-threat for the Women’s Intercontinental championship has many layers as all three superstars have history with one another. Beginning with the champion Becky Lynch, she and Bayley‘s rivalry go back for over a decade since NXT. Lynch was attacked by Bayley while she was a member of Damage CTRL a few years ago.

Nonetheless, it was later revealed Lynch took out Bayley ahead of the Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 41 as she was slated to partner with Lyra Valkyria.

Next, Lynch would take Bayley’s place as she and Valkyria won the titles, but would lose them the following night on RAW. The Man attacked Valkyria after the match as Bayley returned last month to exact her revenge.

However, it looks as though Bayley was set to win the Intercontinental Championship, but Valkyria went after Lynch, causing a disqualification. Finally, a No. 1 Contender’s match between Bayley and Valkyria ended in a no-contest. That being said, it led to this match at Evolution as Lynch seeks to retain once again as Valkyria is looking to be a IC champion for the second. For Bayley, a win makes her a first-time IC champion.

NXT Women’s Championship — Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Jordynne Grace

As far as this match goes, Jacy Jayne shocked the wrestling world by defeating Stephanie Vaquer to become NXT Women’s Champion. She faces Jordynne Grace, who won a No. 1 Contender’s Match to get here. Winning championship gold is nothing new for Grace, who is three-time TNA Women’s Champion.

Additionally, she has a tag team at NXT Great American Bash the night before Evolution. For Jayne, some view her as an underdog, but expect her to compete against Grace as we’ll see if her reign continues or if a new champion is crowed.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Kabuki Warriors vs. Sol Ruca

Diving in, this match came about due to the shoulder injury of superstar Liv Morgan and a potential vacancy. At this point, Raquel Rodriguez became partnerless until Roxanne Perez took Morgan’s place. Looking at the tag teams in this match, Rodriguez is a six-time tag team champion. She won four with Morgan and one apiece with former superstar Aliyah and now with Perez.

The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) are two-time Women’s Tag Team Champions as Sol Ruca and Zaria have shown the chemistry as a tag team in NXT. Finally, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are no strangers to winning tag team titles.

Flair was a tag team champion with Asuka from Dec 2020 – Jan 2021 as Bliss is a three-time champion. Two of those reigns were with Nikki Cross and the other with (you guessed it, Asuka). In all honesty, a match like this can go many different ways. A case can be for any of these four tag teams to walk away with the titles in Atlanta.

Jade Cargill vs. Naomi (No Holds Barred Match)

If there was ever a match that warranted a stipulation of No Holds Barred, it is this one. On the March 7 edition of SmackDown, Naomi revealed to Bianca Belair she attacked Jade Cargill last November. It’s important to note Cargill made her WWE return at Elimination Chamber, attacking Naomi. This was nearly a week before Naomi’s admission. Since then, it’s been back-and-forth between them as this rivalry has heat.

Also, both superstars added much more as Cargill is the Queen of the Ring as Naomi is Ms. Money in the Bank. Why is that significant? Cargill will have a championship match at SummerSlam in August thanks to winning Queen of the Ring. Naomi can cash in on a champion at any point as Ms. Money in the Bank (see Stratton Vs. Stratus). However, Belair might serve as an X-factor in the No Holds Barred Match, adding much more intrigue.

No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal

Here, battle royal matches are always difficult to predict and this one is no different. On a personal level, Vaquer makes a lot of sense. Her against either SKY or Ripley would be a crowd-erupting match at Clash of Paris in August. Losing the NXT title against Jayne was a shock, but the silver lining could be a championship match.
