Ace Austin will remain with TNA Wrestling after signing a new contract. Our Denise Salcedo broke the news Thursday in an interview with Austin, later confirmed by the promotion. The length of the deal was not disclosed, but Austin had previously signed a new multi-year deal in 2022. The 27-year-old first debuted with TNA in June 2018 and wrestled there sporadically before signing his first contract there in 2019. He won his first title in TNA at 2019's Bound for Glory in a five-way ladder match for the X-Division title. After holding that belt for nearly six months, he had two shorter runs with the gold in both 2021 and 2022, both of which lasted less than two months each. He found success in the tag team division with Chris Bey, holding the TNA Tag Team titles twice in 2023 and into 2024.
