Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are meeting once more for the TNT Championship.

The Patriarchy were heading up the ramp after assaulting Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard on Dynamite when Copeland arrived with a chair to clean house. Cage escaped through the crowd and exited the arena with a stolen car. Copeland then turned to the camera and challenged Cage to an I Quit match for the March 20 edition of Dynamite in Toronto, saying that he wanted to face Cage one more time.

Immediately after the segment ended, Tony Khan made the TNT Championship match official.

Back at AEW Worlds End in December, Copeland defeated Cage to win the TNT Championship. However, after Killswitch attacked Copeland after the match, Cage then forced Killswitch to give him the TNT contract Killswitch had earned earlier in the night, allowing Cage to immediately regain the TNT title.

After Worlds End, Copeland started to rack up wins in an attempt to get another shot at Christian Cage. He wrestled Daniel Garcia in a number one contenders match, but the Patriarchy interrupted the bout, eventually laying out Copeland with a conchairto.
