Have we all digested what happened at AEW All Out 2025? Slept on it and changed our opinions, good or bad, about the results? I’m here to break down and analyze not only who won, but also how they move on for the immediate future. What are the repercussions for the decisions made by Tony Khan and the rest of the AEW creative team?
Also, make sure to take a look at my All Out predictions to see how accurate I was with all the outcomes.
Kyle Fletcher dominated most of the match, but Adam Page did what great champions do and did enough to pull it off at the end and continue his legendary title run. What does this mean for Fletcher? He is still the TNT champion, and his in-match dominance of Hangman only adds to his character and, ultimately, the title.
The Protostar is precisely what the TNT title needed to get back elevated to the day of Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin. In his next feud, he will be playing the Hangman role, creating stars by having exciting title defenses.
As for Hangman, you don’t need to rush a title change anytime soon. The crowd has been into Page’s reign. He has yet to put on anything other than a classic pay-per-view match. However, that does beg the question, who is next? Kazuchika Okada is a long-time rival of Hangman, and it would continue his beef with the Callis Family. What about a returning Jay White?
Finally, after five years in the company, Kris Statlander is your AEW Women’s World Champion. A consistent workhouse for the company, Statlanders’ time to be the face of the women’s division is finally here. With that being said, what is almost here as well is her inevitable invitation-accepting turn to the Death Riders.
Wheeler Yuta is slowly creeping into her mind through her ear, and it’s a matter of when, not if, they join forces. The only question remaining is how soon they pull the trigger. The perfect opponent to feud with as a member of the Death Riders is already there: Jaime Hayter.
Just as interesting as Statlander’s win is what happens to Toni Storm. Her face said it all. Storm is Shell-Shocked. The time has come for the longest-reigning women’s champion to take a break and heal up. This will give the crowd time to miss her, and more importantly, revamp her character.
Sometimes, all a boy needs is his dinosaur. What was welcomed back with a thunderous pop, The Jungle Express are back and are baby faces. Tony Khan and Co. are revamping the tag team division to get it back to what it was during its first few years. Now that Jack Perry is a bit more seasoned after his singles run, this new and improved version of Jungle Express can lean into some in-depth and meaty storylines.
The heel turn with Perry, while exciting when it happened, did not stick the landing. With all the baggage that came with it— Cough* CM Punk*—it was time to get him back to what the crowds loved about him and Luchasaurus. Jungle Express doesn’t immediately challenge for the titles. They will eventually win they agan, but it is too soon for that. Brodido has to lose them first, AND Jungle Express has to reestablish itself with the AEW audience.
Where to even start with ALL of this. The rivalry between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin is FAR from over. Pac was just reintroduced into the fold — with a haircut —to help Moxley get the win over Allin. However, that is not where the night ended for these two. Moxley was set ablaze at the hands of Allin. That will no doubt extend the rivalry for the soul of AEW. The violence is escalating to a point that who knows what the next match will be? Blood and Guts with a returning OC?
Also, an interesting tidbit to keep in mind. Bryan Danielson gave Allin the bag to choke Moxley out. Danielson is out for blood. That signals that he has at least one more match in him. That is a given. What type of match? Who knows. He has been embedded in this storyline for too long for it not ot pay off.
The in-ring match wasn’t the best quality; however, it is fantastic to see Eddie Kingston back in All Elite Wrestling. Hook teased the return of Kingston a few weeks ago. So he and Kingston will be teaming up, or at least starting a New York stable.
They both have beef with the Death Riders, so it makes all the sense in the world to merge them into that storyline. It is all coming together like an Avengers: Endgame-style ending. All the chickens are coming home to roost for Moxley and the Death Riders. All the chaos they have caused is going to catch up with them.
It would be smart to get Kingston comfortable back in the ring, with a few mini-rivalries. A “revenge tour,” if you will, before ultimately getting his lick back against Gabe Kidd. That will be a match that will be a contender for whatever year they finally fight in.
The Don Callis Family is falling apart, unbeknownst to Don Callis himself. However, that part of the story is yet to be defined. Is Callis purposefully not caring about the apparent tension between Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita?
Or does he know precisely what is happening, and he is just waiting to pull the trigger? It has to be the ladder. It will happen soon. Two mega-powers like Okada and Takeshita deserve to have an outright feud for the leadership of the Don Callis Family.
Mascara Dorada, at only 23 years old (!!), not only kept up with the two Japanese superstars, but thrived. Mark these words: he will be the first full-time CMLL luchador to hold AEW gold. He will be an ambassador for the two promotions, doing what MJF was doing with the Light Heavyweight title, for All Elite Wrestling. He is too good not to.
To everyone’s delight, Brodido retained the AEW Tag Team Titles, which proves they aren’t a transitional champion. The tag team ladder match delivered on every aspect, and it proved that Brodido can carry the division into the immediate future. The sky is the limit with Brody King and Bandido, as the combination of power and high-flying prowess will keep fans intrigued for as long as they have the titles.
With the return of Lucha Express, the reanimated CnC, a reeling FTR/Young Bucks, an emerging Jetspeed, and the always lurking Death Riders, the tag team division is set up for success. An immediate rivalry Brodido can delve into is against the winning Demand. This can be a mini-feud while the rest of the division is sorted out. After that? Please give me a Brodido vs Hurt Syndicate meat-mania. That would feed me and my family for generations.
Looking back, we should have known that Maxwell Jacob Friedman running his mouth about Jay Briscoe couldn’t go unpunished. It would have left a bad taste in our mouths if Mark Briscoe didn’t defend the family name in a match that was designed for him. MJF could afford to lose, as the guaranteed shot protects him for his title shot.
MJF looked good in the match, great, especially considering he was in Mexico City the night before. It will be interesting for MJF, as it will be the immediate direction he goes in after All Out. He is now on a three-match losing streak in big matches (against Hangman, Mistico, and Briscoe). Does he try to build up to his title defense, or does he try to go after Hangman Page right away
As for Briscoe, now that he has his win back, he will go back to get his lick back against the Don Callis Family. Can he dethrone Okada as the Unified Champion? That’s not a bad route.
The mission is complete! Or so Christian Cage and Adam Copeland thought after getting the 1,2,3 on FTR. However, that is not the case. Not only is there rivalry with FTR not done, as Cash Wheeler and Dax Hardwood put their hands on Beth Copeland.
But Nick Wayne, Kip Sabian, and Mother Wayne inserted themselves back into the picture. With Beth now in the picture, that is probably signaling we get a trios mix-tag match between CnC, Beth Copeland, and the Matriarchy. Do we get a Stockley vs Beth squash match?
Ultimately, CnC moves on from these rivalries unscathed, as the ultimate goal for Copeland and Cage is to have one last run at the tag team title. Is that this year? Probably not. However, the legendary tag team is not leaving the company until they get their final tag team title run.
