FTR defeats Brodido via Pinfall to become 3-time AEW World Tag Team Champions

If you love tag team wrestling (I sure do), then this match should have had you on your feet. Brodido showed why they came in as AEW World Tag Team Champions. This match was outstanding and is an early contender for match of the night. FTR hasn't lost a step and looked good with the offense and execution. Bandido is a star. I saw something in him that I didn't know was there. After what had to be about seven near falls, FTR was able to finally overcome the champions and bring home the gold for the third time. The fans were loud and on their feet. This is the type of match that you expect to see when FTR steps between the ropes, and Brodido did more than hold their own. Bandido may have had his best performance tonight.

Timeless Love Bombs defeat Babes of Wrath, Sisters of Sin, and Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir via Pinfall

This was some kind of match. It was like watching NASCAR. All of the ladies gave a good effort, but the Timeless Love Bombs prevailed. It'll be interesting to see what stipulation they choose. Considering Toni Storm's eccentricity, it's anyone's guess.

Darby Allin vs. PAC

PAC defeats Darby Allin via Pinfall

Darby Allin and PAC kicked off Full Gear 2025. This match had a lot of action in it. Allin is either crazy or dedicated to be in the ring shortly after receiving second-degree burns. One of the highlights of the match was an apron military press slam to the floor by PAC. I'm sure that didn't do Darby any favors. PAC controlled and dominated the majority of the match, but Darby showed his resiliency and remained competitive. Just when it looked like Darby had a chance to win, Wheeler Yuta provided a distraction so that PAC could get a hold of Darby's bat and use it. Being beaten due to one of your own weapons is a heck of a way to lose. It's like a plumber getting a beatdown with their own wrench.

It's a packed house at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. This is a big night with a stacked card featuring nine scheduled matches. Expect some great action, and I'm personally anticipating a few surprises on this card tonight.

The crowd is hyped and loud tonight. This looks like Full Gear has the potential to possibly be one of the best PPVs of the year. Stay with us for live updates.
