AEW Grand Slam Australia Predictions are here for Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026, live on TNT Network, at the Qudos Bank Arena, and John Cena will make a deal with MJF in the main event. Now that John Cena is retired in WWE, he could dip his foot in AEW. Too bad fans can’t see him. The biggest surprises on Dynamite this week were Thekla dethroning Kris Statlander in the main event and Kyle Fletcher taking back the TNT Title, ending Ciampa’s reign in less than two weeks.
AEW has scheduled six matches for the card on this episode: MJF (c) vs. Brody King for the World Title, Babes of Wrath (c) vs. MegaBad for the Tag Titles, Jon Moxley (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita for the Continental Classic Title, Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mark Briscoe for the TNT Title, Orange Cassidy & Toni Storm vs. Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir, and Hangman Adam Page vs. Andrade. Without further ado, here are the official AEW Grand Slam Australia Predictions for February 14, 2026.
MJF should have never been squashed by Brody King. Squashing the world champ should be forbidden in pro wrestling. Some naysayers may make the assertion that it made Brody King a credible threat to the title. However, there are more feasible ways to make him a credible threat that does not involve hurting the credibility of the champ, such as booking a number one contender’s match. Moreover, the squash will go to waste because Brody King has no chance in hell of dethroning MJF.
Prediction: MJF
Babes of Wrath are the inaugural tag team champions and they only defended the title a handful of times. Since they are in Harley Cameron’s home country of Australia, it would be heart warming for them to solidify their title reign with a retention. MegaBad have been dominant and even defeated the champs to earn this title match. However, that fallacious booking won’t go in their favor again. The real threats to this title reign are the Sisters of Sin, who will win all the gold with Thekla soon.
Prediction: Babes of Wrath
Jon Moxley is way too overpowered in AEW. Anyone can predict Moxley to win a match and they’ll be correct 95% of the time. The real question is: When is Jon Moxley going to take his scheduled vacation? He is clearly overexposed and does not even know whether he is babyface or heel, just like Nikki Bella in WWE. Meanwhile, Konosuke Takeshita has been directionless in the DC Family since he lost the International Title. If anyone dethrones Moxley, it definitely won’t be him.
Prediction: Jon Moxley
It is questionable as to why Fletcher won the title back from Ciampa. Ciampa was doing a good job with his “welcome package” in AEW, and it feels like the rug was swept underneath him. Also, it was presumed that Fletcher would advance to the main event scene after his lengthy TNT Title reign. Instead, he went back to winning the title he made stale just for the pop in his home country of Australia. Now, everything is back to square one in an AEW Full Gear 2025 rematch with Mark Briscoe.
Prediction: Kyle Fletcher
Wheeler Yuta has a lot of hair. Orange Cassidy and Toni Storm want to shave his head and make him bald. That’s the story in this match. They added some emotion to this “story” by having Yuta shave Mina Shirakawa’s hair. Since Shirakawa is Storm’s tag partner, this was supposed to anger Storm to the point of getting revenge. No one wants to see Storm and Cassidy shave their heads. This should be a home country victory for Storm as she regains momentum ever since losing the World Title.
Prediction: Orange Cassidy & Toni Storm
Now that the sports entertainment is out of the way, it’s time for the show-stealing match of the evening. There is not a single match on this card that will be as good as this match. Andrade has been killing it with Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega in the ring. He defeated two former World Champs in a short period of time, but he won’t get lucky against Hangman. Hangman has history with MJF from AEW Revolution 2025, and AEW will capitalize on that for AEW Revolution this year.
Prediction: Hangman Adam Page
