AJ Lee’s WWE Survivor Series Status Revealed

AJ Lee has returned after a short hiatus and may be sticking around for longer on this occasion after costing Becky Lynch in her WWE Intercontinental Championship match on RAW. She hadn't been seen since Wrestlepalooza (September 20th), but AJ made her return last night and caused a distraction, which led to Maxxine Dupri shockingly dethroning Becky.

AJ Lee To Compete in WarGames at Survivor Series

AJ spoke to Jackie Redmond after the match backstage and suggested that there's unfinished business with Becky. The pair were involved in a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza, which saw the returning former Divas Champion and CM Punk defeat The Man and her husband Seth Rollins.

The 38-year-old was curiously taken aside by Rhea Ripley during RAW, with many interpreting this as Rhea asking AJ to join her team for Survivor Series WarGames. That is the plan, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, which claims "AJ Lee will, in fact, be on Rhea’s team, although that is not yet official."

If she does indeed participate in WarGames, it will be the second match of her return to pro wrestling after spending a decade away from the business. Some questioned whether her Wrestlepalooza match was a one-off due to her absence thereafter, but she is set for her second match ahead of the Road to WrestleMania 42.
