As much as it would be nice if people could follow the mantra, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, social media makes it too easy for people to be rude without real consequence. Even if a fan is clueless about their inappropriate comments, they can hurt, and Alexa Bliss found that out recently when a post went viral about her appearance on recent WWE programming.

Bliss Commented On The Post From A Very Rude Fan

A very select few social media users decided to take shots at her appearance, one even making an inappropriate remark about her age. Rather than ignore it, Bliss addressed the comments directly, offering what was an unnecessary explanation for why she looks older.

“I’ve seen the tweets. And all I can say is having only one full day at home a week with our nonstop schedule and being a full-time mom while constantly fighting exhaustion will definitely take a toll on my appearance.”

It's unfortunate that she felt the need to justify anything. Fans who know her understand that she recently had a child, she isn't the same age as she once was, and a person's body has a way of showing it. Still, Bliss looks fantastic, and while her reply wasn’t defensive, it was honest. Since becoming a mother and returning to the WWE spotlight, she’s been balancing a heavy travel load, early mornings, late nights, and the chaos that comes with caring for a one-year-old at home.

And if the intent behind those comments was to rattle her, maybe it worked. More likely, the mean-spirited post just hurt his feelings, and Bliss’ response struck a chord with fans, many of whom immediately rallied to her defense.

Fans Rally Behind Alexa Bliss, Reject Hateful Commentary

The flood of support that followed showed Bliss exactly how many people appreciated her and her transparency.

One fan wrote, “You shouldn’t even have to justify yourself about those comments. Especially when it comes from losers who’ll never amount to a tenth of everything you’ve accomplished. We’re extremely proud of you!” Another added, “Don’t pay attention to cruel haters or trolls. You’re gorgeous. Keep being the best mom for Hendrix. We love you, Lexi.”

The overwhelming sentiment was clear: Bliss doesn’t owe anyone explanations for looking like a real person living a real life.
