Logan Paul has found a home in WWE
Logan Paul is a controversial figure within the wrestling industry. For some, he's a natural performer with exceptional athleticism. For others, he's a social media influencer who has been injected into mainstream wrestling to boost the numbers and has taken the spot of someone more deserving.
Yet, no matter which side of the argument you fall on, you will need to get used to Paul being part of the WWE. In a recent interview on "Jazzy's World," Paul noted how the company is "perfect" for what he loves and that he aims to stick around moving forward.
"WWE is the perfect thing for everything that I love in life," Paul said. h/t to Fightful for the Transcription. "The showmanship, the combat, the physical nature of it, the storytelling, the media. It's everything that I love. You know, we're doing part of it right now, but in a second, I get to go out there, and I get to go beat some people up. I think it's fun for me, people seem to enjoy it, and truthfully, Jazzy I think at age 27, I found my calling. I gotta say I'm good at it. Jazzy, you're looking at the US champ, the best WWE has seen in a while, so I'm gonna be at it for a minute."
The WWE is an entertainment brand. Paul's natural charisma and on-air persona have ensured he's exceptionally good at cutting promo in front of a sold-out crowd. He's already splitting opinions of the fanbase, which generates more conversations and grows the interest surrounding his involvement with the company. It's a win-win for everyone involved.
Paul is a good wrestler, too. In his US Championship win, he drew praise for catching Rey Mysterio Jr. in mid-air, saving him from a certain injury. That match was a sign of things to come. WWE will undoubtedly put Paul in positions to create viral moments and generate a buzz around his in-ring performances. They will keep booking him for as long as he wants to be part of the company, assuming he plays by the rules.
Yes, Paul has found a home in the WWE, and in return, the company has found a potential star for years to come. Not everyone will like it, but that plays right into WWE's hands.
