Becky Lynch vacates Raw Women's Championship, announces pregnancy

WWE Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch vacated her title and announced her pregnancy in the opening segment of Monday's edition of "Raw."

Earlier in the day, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported Lynch dropped the belt during Monday's taping. Asuka, who won the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase at Sunday's MITB show, was awarded the championship after Lynch explained Sunday's match was for her belt instead of for a future title opportunity.

According to WWE.com, Lynch held the championship for 399 days after she pinned Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35.

Along with confirming her pregnancy, Lynch added that she is "going away" for some time. She and Asuka then embraced inside the ring after Lynch announced she was becoming a mother for the first time.

Last August, WWE confirmed Lynch and fellow WWE Superstar Seth Rollings are engaged.

According to Wrestling Observer, Lynch hadn't appeared on "Raw" since April 13. She wasn't on Sunday's pay-per-view card.
