Dustin Rhodes has been in the professional wrestling business since 1988, and he is nearing his sixties. This current period of his career has seen him working in All Elite Wrestling, joining the company to face his brother Cody Rhodes at the inaugural Double or Nothing event back in 2019. He has been with the company since, and he has been making appearances on the Ring of Honor brand as well.
His work in ROH has been quite successful, as Dustin captured the ROH World Tag Team Championships with Sammy Guevara, and the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships with Marshall and Ross Von Erich.
Since July 2024, Dustin has become a vital part of Ring of Honor programming, becoming a double champion in the tag team division. The run has been stellar for Rhodes, but he has been looking forward to bigger opportunities with the remainder of his career. It seems he has his sights on capturing the Ring of Honor World Championship.
He also told Bill Apter for Sportskeeda's WrestleBinge that he plans on calling it quits and retiring sometime in the next two or three years. In his illustrious career, this would be the first world title that Dustin has held for a major promotion.
Dustin has worked for World Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action, and the WWE, with his most famous stint being in the WWE as Goldust. Across these multiple promotions, he has used several gimmicks and captured numerous titles, such as the WCW United States and WWE Intercontinental Championships.
He has also been a successful tag team wrestler, working alongside many greats such as Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, Cody Rhodes, and Booker T. Rhodes has yet to capture a title in AEW, but it seems like ROH has been treating "The Natural" much better.
