Bray Wyatt will feature in a new documentary set for release on Peacock during WrestleMania week.

Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal will tell the story of the man behind the character played by Windham Rotunda. His former partner JoJo Offerman and brother Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas) will help celebrate his legacy whilst sharing the pain of his passing aged just 36.

Mark Calaway – known as “The Undertaker” – will narrate the documentary.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced the documentary on X, saying it was ‘time for his story to be told’. The documentary will air on April 1, 2024.

Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal

Levesque will feature in the documentary where he will shed light on Rotunda’s creative process.

John Cena will discuss working with Rotunda in the ring. Cena and Bray Wyatt took part in one of the most creative matches in WWE history when they met in a Firefly Funhouse match at WrestleMania 36.

Never before seen footage and interviews with Rotunda will also help tell the story. In the trailer, we hear him declaring that ‘I wanna be just like my dad. I wanted to be in the WWE.’

His father Mike Rotunda was famous in the WWE for playing Irwin R Schyster, or IRS. Prior to this, he was a successful tag team wrestler. He will enter the WWE Hall of Fame on April 5, 2024 along with brother-in-law Barry Windham. Together they were known as “The U.S. Express”.

Windham Rotunda was named after his uncle.

A Friend, A Fiend, A Father

Rotunda’s former tag team partner Braun Strowman will also feature in the documentary. In the trailer, he seemed visibly upset when discussing his friend. Strowman debuted in WWE as a member of Rotunda’s “The Wyatt Family” stable.

Rotunda’s former partner JoJo Offerman will discuss living with him and what he was like as a father to their children. Taylor Rotunda – known to WWE fans as Bo Dallas – is also set to discuss his brother’s life and passing. Together, they held the FCW Florida Tag Team Championships. The brothers were in the middle of their first main roster storyline when Rotunda became unwell.

Bray Wyatt was a two-time WWE Universal Champion and held the WWE Championship once during his time with the WWE. He won the WWE Universal Championship for the final time under his The Fiend gimmick in a match against Strowman at SummerSlam 2020.

In August of 2023, Rotunda passed away at the age of 36.
