Brandon Tate has responded to Tony Khan’s comments about The Boys’ AEW release.

The pair were let go during a wave of cuts on April 1. This came as a shock to many fans, as the pair were part of the feud between Dalton Castle and Johnny TV in ROH.

During the ROH Supercard of Honor media call. Tony Khan was asked about the releases by WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard. He claimed that there were many reasons why talent was cut, but noted that Brandon and Brent Tate, also known as The Boys, did not show up to work multiple times, so he had to make a tough call.

Brandon Tate, who performed as one of the boys, took umbrage with Khan’s comments. He posted on social media that Khan’s comments were far from true.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
