Chelsea Green Challenges for AAA Mixed Tag Titles at Day of the Dead

On Sunday, October 26, Green took to X and posted a video in which she called out the current AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana. She said:

“On November 2 in Monterrey, Mexico, Ethan Page and Chelsea Green plan to be your new AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions. La Hiedra, Mr. Iguana, how do you say it in Espanol? Ethan Page, Chelsea Green, numero uno, yes.” (h/t: F4Wonline)

AAA would later confirm the match. La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana have been the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions since defeating Crazzy Steve and Havok on December 8, 2024. Their last successful title defense was on September 7, 2025, against Lince Dorado and Lola Vince at AAA Alianzas.

The upcoming match will be Green’s first AAA match in her career, while it will be Page’s third AAA match. Page was part of the AAA x WWE Worlds Collide event on June 7 and September 12.

Page also recently faced AAA star El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr in a Day of the Dead match at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc this past Saturday, October 25, where Page retained the NXT North American Title.

Other Matches Set For Day of the Dead

It was also announced this past Sunday that AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. will be defending his title against Hijo del Vikingo.

Wagner Jr. has been the champion since defeating then-champion El Mesias on August 16 at AAA TripleMania XXXIII. It’s worth mentioning that the last time Wagner Jr. defended the title was against not only Ethan Page, but also WWE Superstars Dragon Lee and JD McDonagh at the AAA x WWE Worlds Collide in Las Vegas.

So, as of this writing, that’s the only two confirmed matches set for Day of the Dead. The day before the AAA event, on November 1, is WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, where Jey Uso and CM Punk will battle it out to see who is going to be the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. So it will be a busy weekend.
