Rumors of Chris Jericho leaving AEW have been running rampant for months now. Tony Khan was recently asked about Jericho’s status in AEW, but his answer didn’t really give any definitive answer to the fans.
Most fans are expecting him to return to WWE and have one final run. However, a new report now suggests that wrestling fans may soon catch a glimpse of Y2J on TNA instead.
On the Final Bell Media’s No Dirt Just Dialogue podcast, Andrew Baydala recently said that Chris Jericho has agreed to return to WWE. He also says that Jericho is interested in working for TNA. Interestingly enough, TNA is set to debut on AMC next week, on January 15.
Baydala had previously predicted that Jericho could make an appearance on this show.
“I’m saying this on record… Chris Jericho has already agreed to a WWE return. There’s a lot of smoke around this from what I was gathering from people who were calling and texting me, from people who would know, that Chris Jericho is very interested in working TNA.”
A few months back, Jericho said that he is still signed to AEW but wouldn’t mind working for WWE again. A lot of fans are currently hoping to see Jericho return at WWE Royal Rumble 2026.
