CM Punk Earns World Heavyweight Title Shot

Punk won the match when Uso tried to go to the Uso Splash, but Punk got his knees up and then hit the Go To Sleep. Beforehand, Knight was about to get the pin after he hit Punk with the BFT, but Uso pulled Knight out of the ring and threw him into the ring steps.

So now Punk will be Rollins' next opponent, though it’s unclear when he will be facing him. Per F4Wonline, it’s thought that the WWE World Heavyweight Title match will take place on Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Though Rollins has another problem. His own stablemates attacked the champion — Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Paul Heyman was right behind them in attacking Rollins, too. The only member who didn’t attack him was his wife, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.

The show ended with Breakker, Reed, and Heyman standing over Rollins with Breakker holding the WWE World Heavyweight Title. It was one of the most shocking moments on WWE RAW in a long time. Normally, it’s Rollins who is the one who is betraying his stablemates.

Will CM Punk Get His Revenge?

It was Rollins who had ruined Punk’s win at SummerSlam. During Night One, Punk defeated Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title. Rollins, who had the Money in the Bank briefcase, decided to cash in, and there went Punk’s dreams.

Mind you, Rollins pretended to be injured and even went on to do interviews on crutches, but it was all just a ploy. Now he’s going to have to use his smarts to defend the title, and he won’t be having any help from The Vision. Maybe from Becky. She did help him in his match against Punk at Clash in Paris. Though Punk now has his own ally in his wife, AJ Lee. Their feud led to Lee’s return after 10 years. Now we will have to wait and see what will happen next in their rivalry that has been around since Punk’s return in 2023.
