Cody Rhodes is officially locked into a new contract with WWE. Near the end of last year, Dave Meltzer reported that Rhodes had signed a new WWE contract. Meltzer noted that Rhodes signed the deal in October 2023. Rhodes recently confirmed the deal while being interviewed by Justin Walker of 8 News Now in Las Vegas. Rhodes didn't disclose the length of the contract, but it extends past his 40th birthday. He is currently 38 years old. Rhodes had previously stated that he planned to retire from in-ring competition at 40. Rhodes told Walker that is no longer the case. Rhodes doesn't know when he'll retire, but he intends on stepping away gracefully when the time comes.
