Cody Rhodes reacts to WWE veteran being possibly 'armed' after Logan Paul handed him his brass knuckles
Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Cody Rhodes is all set to battle Logan Paul this weekend in Saudi Arabia. As much as the match sounds stacked on paper, it is unpredictable. Days before the clash, the Maverick handed his ‘brass knuckles’ to Michael Cole. The American Nightmare took minutes to react to this with an interesting nod.

Corey Graves posted on X that he is unsure about the feeling that Michael Cole would be walking with a weapon all weekend. Cody Rhodes responded to the same post with an eye emoji. He implicitly tried to convey that this turn of events had piqued his interest.

It might be possible that even the Undisputed Champion would like to use those brass knuckles to pick up a win for once. Logan Paul, who is known for using cheap tactics to win matches, has used those knuckles in the past. Therefore, the Voice of WWE criticized the Social Media Megastar for his questionable acts in the ring.

It led to the United States Champion handing over his weapon to the WWE legend. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if Paul sticks to his promise or not. The field is now set as the superstars have landed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the King and Queen of the Ring PLE.

WWE never planned a winner takes all match between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul

When WWE initially revealed that Logan Paul was going to face Cody Rhodes at King and Queen of the Ring, fans were quite interested in the clash. One of the major reasons was speculation of it being a ‘Winner Takes All’ match. However, it looked like WWE pivoted from the stipulation.

According to a report by Ringside News, WWE never had any plans for it to be a winner-take-all. Instead, WWE used it as bait to garner more interest from the fans. In fact, it was also done to try to generate some heat against the Maverick after he refused to put his title on the line.

As it initially looked, WWE would’ve found itself in a predicament if the stipulation was for both titles. Nonetheless, given the American Nightmare’s stance within the company at the moment, it is certain that he is not losing his title so early into his reign.
