Cora Jade – Friend or Foe?

The very next week, she fought alongside her against Giulia and a debuting Stephanie Vaquer. It seems she is eager to help her friend fight her battles, but the situation is a lot more complicated.

With her history with Roxanne and the fact that she is still the NXT Women’s Champion, it remains to be seen whether Cora can truly be trusted.

Cora Jade’s Rocky Relationship with Roxanne Perez

For new viewers, the partnership between Cora and Roxanne is a happy one, with one returning after months to help the other. But for those who know their whole backstory, it’s understandable to be skeptical of Cora acting friendly towards Roxanne.

At first, they were cordial, even winning the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships together. But that all changed when she cost Roxanne during an NXT Women’s Championship match.

She turned heel, dropping the tag team belts in the trash can, ending their friendship. Since that point, they had fought several times, showing that there was definite bad blood between the two.

Roxanne Perez Can’t Fight This Battle Alone

When Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer signed with WWE NXT, there was a lot of hype from the wrestling community. Two legends of Japan and Mexico were coming to the United States.

Logically, people thought they would head straight for Roxanne and the NXT Women’s Championship, and they were right. Cora obviously sees that her former friend is in trouble.

Why not bury the hatchet temporarily in order to help her against those two? It’s understandable that she doesn’t want to see her get hurt, even though she was against her in the past.

What Will Cora Jade Do?

Right now, Cora is an interesting position. She could help Roxanne against Giulia and Vaquer, she could attack Roxanne again and gain an automatic title shot, or she could wait for the winner should Roxanne lose.

There’s a lot of different options for Cora to choose from in regard to her next move. This is a captivating storyline a lot of people are interested in, not just because she is back from injury, but because of her history with Roxanne.

It’ll be interesting to see what path Cora Jade takes, but each one has the potential to be entertaining for everyone involved.
