Deonna Purrazzo On Her Time In AEW So Far: It’s Been Super Positive, I’ve Put My Best Foot Forward

Deonna Purrazzo comments on joining AEW and shares her thoughts on Mercedes Moné returning to the ring.

Deonna Purrazzo was one of TNA’s brightest stars, and she signed with AEW in January. She has established herself as one of the top competitors in the women’s division during her time in the company.

Speaking with Scott Fishman of SEScoops, Deonna Purrazzo commented on her time in AEW so far.

“I think it has been super positive,” Purrazzo said. “I’ve put my best foot forward with this new company and working with brand new people and telling new stories. I was scared but equally excited.”

Deonna Purrazzo also shared her thoughts on Mercedes Moné’s AEW in-ring debut at AEW Double or Nothing. She expressed her excitement and noted that she was one of the many people who was looking forward to seeing her wrestle again.

“I think for myself when a woman comes in and says, ‘This is what I want. These are my terms.’ And then gets it, and then does great business for other women to come thereafter. To watch her thrive in the way she is,” Purrazzo said. “She is about to get in the ring and I know so many people have been looking forward to watching her wrestle again, I’m one of those people.”
