Good Ol' Jim Ross recently took to social media to announce his colon cancer diagnosis. The 73-year-old WWE Hall Of Famer and current AEW voice shared the update on his X account, noting that he is scheduled to undergo surgery soon. Known for his iconic calls and enduring legacy in the wrestling industry, Ross now faces yet another serious health battle.

He also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support he's received from fans and his peers in the wrestling industry.
As mentioned earlier, this is not Jim Ross' first rodeo with cancer. Back in 2021, the veteran broadcaster was diagnosed with skin cancer, which led to a series of treatments and a temporary break from AEW commentary. Although on a part-time basis, JR was able to return to the booth. Now, just a few years later, he's once again confronted with a serious health issue.
Jim Ross has faced other health challenges throughout his illustrious career. Most notably, he suffered from multiple Bell's palsy attacks, which led to his partial facial paralysis.
Ross finds himself facing a new challenge, but with the same fighting spirit fans have come to admire. If caught early, colon cancer's prognosis is generally very positive: many patients can be cured with surgery alone, without needing chemotherapy or radiation.
Our thoughts are with Jim Ross during this difficult time. We join the wrestling world in wishing him strength, healing, and a full recovery.
