For weeks, Carmelo Hayes has been hosting open challenges for his United States Championship. He has defeated big names such as Ilja Dragunov, Rey Fenix, and Johnny Gargano in his impressive run so far. Who was going to step up to try and take the championship away from him, ending his impressive run? On February 13, 2026, in an episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Dragunov once again wanted a chance to win the championship.

This would be their fourth match since December 2025, and their third match since Hayes won the title from him. But immediately when Dragunov’s entrance music stopped, a familiar and unwelcoming entrance music began playing as MFT arrived with Solo Sikoa. He said Dragunov already had a chance at the title, and that it was his time now. Would the match happen, and how would the conflict be resolved?

MFT Wins a Hard-Fought Battle Against Five Other Wrestlers

Sikoa’s words immediately enraged Dragunov and Hayes. Dragunov wanted a fight, while Hayes wanted to leave with two titles, referencing Sikoa and Tama Tonga’s WWE Tag Team Championships.

Sikoa and MFT rushed into the ring to attack Dragunov and Hayes. A five-on-two attack was quickly evened by Apollo Crews, Matt Cardona, and Shinsuke Nakamura joining to help. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis came out and announced an impromptu ten-man tag team match.

The match started, and they immediately began going back and forth. That lasted for a while, but after a few minutes and MFT shenanigans, everything broke down. Everyone retreated from the apron after Sikoa knocked Cardona and Crews off of it when he got tagged in by Talla Tonga. All ten men then went back and forth tagging each other and getting offense in.

Everyone was taking each other out to the point where Dragunov and Mateo were the only ones visible around the ring. Dragunov headbutted Mateo, then delivered an H-Bomb. Sikoa suddenly jumped into the ring out of nowhere and sent him straight into the ringpost. Hayes reappeared and superkicked Sikoa, but was put in position for a Samoan Drop.

He struggled out, then caught Sikoa with a First 48. A Nothing But Net was surely coming next, but Tama pushed him into Sikoa when he was on the top rope. Dragunov knocked both him and Sikoa to the outside with a Torpedo Moscow. Tama leaped in, delivered the Cutthroat, and secured the victory for MFT.

A crazy match was definitely delivered in action and results. Despite many close calls, MFT stuck together and got the win. Were the Wyatt Sicks watching the match somewhere? Even though they weren’t seen on the show, it’s clear another big confrontation is coming very soon.
