'Doesn’t Even Wanna Spend Thanksgiving With Them' - WWE RAW Star Slams Roman Reigns & The Bloodline

Roman Reigns told Jimmy and Jey Uso that he doesn't want to see them until Christmas in a show of frustration at WWE Crown Jewel after his cousins inadvertently cost him against Bronson Reed. The OTC vented after his shock loss, and one of the Usos' longtime rivals used his angry outburst to make a point.

Bloodline's Bond Questioned After Crown Jewel Mess

Reigns battled Reed in an Australian street fight to kick off Crown Jewel in Perth on Saturday, and The Usos interfered on behalf of the Tribal Chief to fend off Bron Breakker. But a mix-up led to Jey spearing Reigns through a table, and Reed pounced, hitting a Tsunami for the pinfall victory.

Reed became just the second man to pin Reigns in singles competition this decade and the manner of his win has intensified tension between the former WWE Champion and The Usos. He told the twin brothers after his defeat:

"The whole world thinks I can’t do sh*t on my own... I love ya'll, but I don't want to see ya'll till Christmas."

Reigns' remarks didn't go unnoticed by Xavier Woods, who knows all about group disharmony. The New Day member responded to the tense situation with a sly X post:

"The Bloodline has such a strong family bond that Roman doesnt even wanna spend Thanksgiving with them. But yea, keep pushing that they are such a cohesive unit. I swear yall are drunk most of the time."

Reigns' return on RAW two weeks ago has revived The Bloodline saga, with many guessing at his motives in recent segments with Jey. He has urged the former World Heavyweight Champion to focus on himself, while Jimmy has been wary of his brother going down a similar route to that of The Head of the Table.

"We did Everything" - The Usos Could Follow the New Day's Lead

The New Day were a three-man group consisting of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E until the latter suffered a broken neck in 2022 and hasn't returned to in-ring competition since. The heartbreaking latest news suggests his career is over and that he has quietly retired from pro wrestling.

Big E was present for New Day's 10th Anniversary on RAW last December to celebrate one of the most iconic factions in WWE history. But it wasn't a celebratory night for the former WWE Champion as Woods and Kofi threw him out of the stable and turned heel in the process

Woods explained their actions by suggesting in an interview with SHAK Wrestling that they gave Big E too much support:

"We just don’t want anything else to do with him because he turned his back on us. But as far as his injury when it occurred, we did everything that we could to support him emotionally because we can’t go in with healing hands and fix his neck. So we did everything, we were there for him, we call him, text him, we put together videos."

While Reigns' absences over the past year haven't been due to injury, he has still retained The Usos' support. Whenever he is outnumbered, Jimmy and Jey often come to the rescue as they did at Crown Jewel.

This is why The Usos should take a leaf out of The New Day's playbook, as unfair as their stance about Big E is, and steer clear of Reigns. The OTC wants to go it alone, and maybe the best course of action is for their Tribal Chief to understand that he didn't reach the top of the mountain alone when The Bloodline ruled the kingdom.
