Dominik Mysterio has continued his family feud with Rey Mysterio by suggesting he should have gone to the police over his father's "abuse". The father and son duo have been at odds since September 2022 at Clash at the Castle when Dom turned on Rey and his fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Adam 'Edge' Copeland.
The Mysterio family have 'disowned' Dominik on-screen since the ordeal three years ago, which saw him first align with Rhea Ripley and join The Judgment Day. He was arrested after 'crashing Thanksgiving' at the Mysterios' family home and put in jail before eventually settling the score with his father in the ring.
Dom and Rey battled in a singles match at WrestleMania 39, with the 50-year-old teaching his son a lesson at the Show of Shows in April 2023. But they have continued to feud over the years, also teaming against one another at WrestleMania 40.
Their latest scrap came on RAW this past Monday when Rey came to John Cena's rescue alongside Sheamus against Dom and his Judgment Day co-members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. A six-man tag match took place and Cena's team prevailed.
Dom rewatched a clip of that match during a guest appearance on ESPN's First Take and pointed out "abuse" from Rey:
"I'm not a fan of fighting my father because he likes to take advantage of me being his son. He uses me in ways that fathers shouldn't, which is why I believe he is the deadbeat that he is. I mean look at this, who kicks their son like this? Should have called the police. It's abuse."

Dom will have to put his issues with his father to one side for the time being to focus on his upcoming rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He challenges Cena for the title at Survivor Series: WarGames in his hometown of San Diego, California (November 29th), but given he'll be so close to home, you get the feeling Rey might just be on hand to ruin his night.
Dom won't be Cena's final opponent when the current IC Champion officially calls time on his career at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13th. But he will be the last feud that the 17-time world champion was involved in before he hangs up his sneaks next month.
It's a huge honor and indicates just how highly regarded the 28-year-old is among the decision makers. He spoke honestly about facing Cena ahead of his retirement during his ESPN interview:
"It's a huge blessing for me to be able to get three out of his last four matches in the WWE."
But Dom stopped short of suggesting he'll be losing to the Greatest of All-Time:
"I'm excited to put the final nail in his coffin."

Cena is a fan of the AAA Mega Champion and has spoken highly of his future ahead of their rematch at Survivor Series. But while he does see similarities between himself and one of WWE's rising stars, he did warn him about mistakes he sees on the horizon.
