Dominik Mysterio has suggested he isn't a fan of his and The Judgment Day's Def Rebel-produced theme songs following reports suggesting WWE stars have requested changes. The music production quality in the promotion has long been criticised for the superstars' entrance songs that sound too generic and for the reliance on AI samples.
There were reports last month that some members of the roster had requested changes to their theme songs, including reverting to older tracks. This resulted in Shinsuke Nakamura, The Street Profits, and Kairi Sane all using their previous themes, while Sheamus and Drew McIntyre have publicly expressed their desire to return to 'Broken Dreams' and 'Written in My Face'.
Dominik wasn't afraid to speak his mind over the two theme songs he uses as a solo competitor and part of The Judgment Day. He said while appearing on Towers of Power podcast:
"Oh god, I wish (change song). That and the Judgment Day music. Good god."

Dom's current theme song is a Def Rebel-produced track called 'It Is My Time', which some do think suits the 28-year-old because of its lyrics and villainous instrumental. But it's not that imaginative and doesn't scream of one of WWE's top stars, whom many envision as one of the company's poster boys in the years to come.
See our list of Def Rebel themes Dom included that need to be changed (HERE).
But The Judgment Day's 'Rulers of The World' theme is one that should have fans changing the channel because it is so mundane and bizarre. It doesn't fit any member of the faction, and it doesn't look natural when any of them walk to the ring to the strange rap.
The main issue WWE had was replacing Alter Bridge's 'The Other Side', which was the faction's original theme used at the start when the group was formed by Edge 'Adam Copeland', Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. But surely there were better options than the uninspired track again produced by Def Rebel.
Some fans have taken issue with WWE's booking this year and the handling of stars such as Drew McIntyre and LA Knight. It's been a topsy-turvy year for Triple H and his fellow hierarchy, who enjoyed a remarkable 2024 in most respects.
Yet the entertainment aspect of the company's music was its biggest flaw that year and has been a significant blight on WWE's progress during the Triple H regime. Fans have made it clear for many years that they are unhappy with Def Rebel's production quality, and a multi-billion-dollar company obviously has the capability to rectify the glaring problem.
It's not just us saying it, though, as talent are now voicing their frustrations with the music used for entrances. Gone are the days of Jim Johnston creating iconic tracks for the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, and later, CFO$ deserved plaudits for some of their work, such as The Undisputed Era and Bobby Roode.
"It’s too generic. If you’re rising to the top, you’re just less generic. Used to be, you could be making dinner in the kitchen and you knew who was coming in. Now? It’s a crap shoot except for a couple of guys" - Ex-WWE music producer Jim Johnston.
Reports claim Def Rebel is on their "final contract" with WWE and that the plan is to start using outside artists for future music creation. Hopefully, that leads to more work with rock bands like Saliva (Batista), Downstait (The Miz) and Motionless in White ( Rhea Ripley), while the dream would be a Johnston return.
