'Don't Be Afraid To Be Mean To My Family': Paul Heyman Officiated The Wedding For A Culkin Brother
WWE

Few names in wrestling history have done more than Paul Heyman. He's been around since the 1980s, having started when he was only in his 20s. In WCW, as Paul E. Dangerously, he became one of the best heel managers. He went on to run ECW, making hardcore wrestling mainstream. In WWE, he has been the mouthpiece for names such as Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, and today he leads a faction with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. He's even had a decent wrestling career too. But did you know that Paul Heyman once officiated the wedding for Macaulay Culkin's brother, Rory Culkin?

Rory Culkin's Wedding Was Officiated By Paul Heyman

WWE loves to showcase celebrities at their shows. Macaulay Culkin has been part of many events, even getting the pop of the night on the first Raw on Netflix. His Emmy and Award-winning brother, Kieran Culkin, has been seen in the audience too, along with another brother, Rory. Although not as successful as his brothers, Rory Culkin has had a great acting career, appearing in films like Signs and Scream 4. But just like his brothers, he's also a huge wrestling fan and has the evidence to prove it.

When Rory Culkin got married in 2018 to cinematographer Sarah Scrivener, he actually asked Paul Heyman to officiate it, and the former Wiseman agreed. He did it in signature Paul Heyman style too, standing in front of the bride and groom to yell about being the advocate for Brock Lesnar. When he got to the objection part, Heyman pointed to a large man at Rory's side and dared anyone to take their complaints to this man. No one did.

How Did Rory Culkin Get Paul Heyman To Do It?

The same year, Rory Culkin spoke about his wedding on the Jim and Sam Show, saying:

"Paul Heyman's my Rabbi... He was threatening my family in the audience. It was fantastic... I had a brief talk with him beforehand, and I was like, 'Don't be afraid to be mean to my family.'

"He's a heel, you know, and he brought a cameraman with him to film it, and we didn't know, but bits of our wedding are now on the internet. That was not part of the plan, but I was sort of angry about it for like a night, then I realized we just got screwed by the biggest heel in WWE. It was kind of an honor."
